BODMAS

BODMAS is the acronym for the order in which arithmetic operations are carried out.

This acronym states that given a problem to solve, work out the: B – brackets, M – multiplication, D – division, A – addition and S – subtraction of quantities in that order.

Note: Do multiplication and division, in the order they appear from left to right.
